Students with a record of exclusion or failure

If you have a record of exclusion or failure, in any previous tertiary studies, you are required to declare those studies in your UAC application.

Supporting letter

In addition, you must submit a supporting letter directly to UTS, explaining the circumstances relating to the exclusion or failed results and why you believe you can now succeed at university level studies.

This letter must be submitted by no later than:

  • Wednesday 30 November 2011 for Autumn 2012 applications
  • Friday 8 June 2012 for Spring 2012 applications

This letter should be supported by relevant documents and list the UAC course codes for which you have applied. Failure to address this requirement can jeopardise the success of your application to UTS.

Title the letter:

Statement of exclusion or failure for (your name and UAC number)

Send your letter to:

Admissions Manager
Student Administration Unit
University of Technology
P.O. Box 123
Broadway NSW 2007

or deliver to:

Student Centre
Building 1
Level 4 (near the main entrance off Broadway)
15 Broadway

Do not include the failure or exclusion statement as part of your personal statement submission.
