Mature age students
If you are 20 years of age or older you are considered a mature age student.
Mature age itself is not enough to gain entry to UTS, and your application will depend on your:
- previous qualifications, and
- may include consideration of work experience and motivation to study.
If you are a mature-age student, consideration of your application to gain entry into a UTS course may include the consideration of results in the:
- Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT),

However, requirements vary for different courses.
