Additional selection criteria

For current school leavers, entry to most undergraduate courses at UTS is based on your ATAR score alone. A small number of courses have additional selection criteria. Additional selection criteria maybe used to award bonus points or to shortlist applicants for interview and can affect the outcome of an application.

For the spring semester (mid year) intake all applicants apply as non current school leavers and need to refer to mature age & non-school leavers additional selection criteria page.

• Compulsory selection criteria

  Compulsory selection criteria must be submitted on time for your application to be considered.

  There are compulsory additional selection criteria for the:

  • Bachelor of Accounting (C10235)

    UAC Code: 601010

    Complete both parts of the Bachelor of Accounting application form
    by Friday 8 June 2012 (Round 1 closing date) or by Friday 26 October 2012 (Round 2 closing date) for Autumn semester 2013 applications.

    You must also have the Bachelor of Accounting as a UAC preference by Wednesday Oct 31 2012.

  • Bachelor of Information Technology (C10143)

    UAC Code: 603210

    Complete the B IT Questionnaire
    by Friday 29 June 2012 (Round 1 closing date) or by Wednesday 31 October 2012 (Round 2 closing date) for Autumn semester 2013 applications.

    You must also have the Bachelor of Information Technology as a UAC preference by Wednesday Oct 31 2012.
