City campus

City campus is right in the middle of Sydney's central business district.

The Tower Building (Building 1) looks like an office building - and inside it's a hive of activity. Twenty-seven floors of lecture theatres, labs and tutorial rooms, not to mention bars and cafes. In this area there are also Building 2, the Bon Marche Building (Building 3) and Building 4. This is where you go to study:

  • engineering,
  • mathematics,
  • computing science,
  • arts and social sciences, or
  • science.

Just over the road is the Peter Johnson Building (Building 6) with state-of-the art workshops, labs and computer facilities, roomy lecture theatres and a thriving exhibition space. That's were you study:

  • design, architecture and building

Five minutes walk away in Haymarket is the UTS Library and Markets campus an architecturally-designed oasis right next to China Town, Market City shopping complex, Darling Harbour and the Entertainment Centre. This is where you study:

  • business,
  • law, and
  • adult education.

Campus update

A large-scale expansion and redevelopment of the City campus has begun, enabling UTS to further cement its role as a key educational, medical, research and technology centre.
