Who can help me decide?

Get the facts from people who know, and talk to as many different people as you can. You will hear a lot of advice based on their personal experiences, so remember that what feels right for you is most important.

And if you change your mind after you start uni, you can still apply to change courses, or even unis.

Some questions to ask yourself

  • What subjects do I like?
  • What jobs can I do that use those subjects?
  • What jobs would I like to do?
  • What qualifications do those jobs need?
  • What degrees will help me get into that field?
  • What universities offer the kind of degrees I'd like to do?
  • Which unis look like my kind of place?

  • What did you like and dislike about your degree?
  • What was your university like?
  • How did you get into uni?
